“I personally think as a political scientist that the Regions Party
could get 200 seats on the majority and proportional lists,” he said at a
press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He noted that 40-50 seats would be taken by representatives of small
parties who will not get into parliament on party lists, as well as
individual and self-nominated nominated candidates.
He also predicted that the Communist Party would receive 25 seats in
the next parliament, “while a triple opposition [the Batkivschyna United
Opposition, UDAR Party and Svoboda] will have 160-170 seats on lists
and in single-member constituencies.”
