The Communist Party of Ukraine has formed lists of candidates for deputies by joining new people with professionals in single-member districts, Ukrainian Communist Party leader Petro Symonenko said live on Chernihiv Regional Television on Tuesday.

Symonenko said that as part of the renovation of the party, the list
includes a lot of young people who were included in the upper part of
the list so that they were able to work in parliament after the
elections.

“Our party has combined youth and experience with such lists. Our
general lists include about 70 people who hold senior positions, ten
entrepreneurs, and two students,” he said.

Symonenko noted that the most experienced first secretaries of the
party’s regional committees had been delegated to single-member
districts where voters know them well, and where they will get support.

As reported, Symonenko will head the list of the Communist Party in
the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. The top five of the list will also
include MP Petro Tsybenko, MP Spiridon Kilinkarov, Head of
Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy Iryna Spirina, and First Secretary of the
Central Committee of the Komsomol Organization of Ukraine Oleksandr
Prysiazhniuk. The party list will also include First Vice Speaker Adam
Martyniuk, MP Yevhen Marmazov, MP Oleksandr Holub, MP Ihor Alekseyev,
and MP Serhiy Hordiyenko.

The parliamentary elections are scheduled for October 28.
