You're reading: Ukrainian parliament to meet only on Tuesday this week

The Verkhovna Rada will work in plenary regime this week only on Tuesday, according to a decision taken by the heads of factions and committees at a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council on Tuesday.

The proposal to hold the meeting only on Tuesday was made by Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn. He said that on that day the parliament would consider “issues that cannot wait any longer.”

Lytvyn said MPs would have to introduce amendments to the schedule of the parliament’s work. He said that this schedule would propose that current MPs convene for the last parliament session on Dec. 4.
