Central Election Commission registers candidates of Socialist Party, Russian Bloc

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has registered party tickets of the Socialist Party of Ukraine and the Russian Bloc for the parliamentary elections.

At its meeting on Friday, the CEC registered 156 candidates on the election list of the Socialist Party of Ukraine and 63 of the party's candidates, who will run in single-mandate constituencies.

Socialist Party Chairman Petro Ustenko tops the party ticket. He is followed by deputy head of the party Natalia Bondar, Lawyer Oleksandr Hryhoryev, Head of the Union of Young Socialist Lialia Beliayeva, Chairman of the Children of War Party, which joined the Socialist Party, Valeriy Ivaschenko.

Socialist Party Leader Oleksandr Moroz was approved by the Central Election Commission as the parliamentary candidate in the town of Myronivka, Kyiv region, and former chairman of the State Property Fund Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko will run in the town of Berdychev (Zhytomyr region).

In addition, the CEC registered the election list of 34 people of the Russian Bloc party and nine candidates from the party, who will run in single-seat constituencies, including well-known journalist Oles Buzyna, who will run in constituency No. 223 (Kyiv).

At its meeting on Friday, the CEC also registered 106 candidates of the political association Ridna Vitchyzna (Our Motherland), seventeen candidates from the National Labor Union of Ukraine, and 78 candidates from the Green Party of Ukraine.
