BYT-Batkivschyna faction MP and Leader of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party (USDP) Natalia Korolevska has said that the united opposition should draft a single development plan for Ukraine that is clear and understandable for Ukrainians.

"We should take as a basis the Europeanization roadmap proposed by Yulia Tymoshenko. When we get 300 votes in the parliament, we will propose a model of government for the 21st century – professional and competent," the press service of the USDP cited Korolevska as saying on Jan. 24.

The politician added that the opposition should pay more attention to former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal to unite into one list at the parliamentary elections in 2012.

"The first very important step was made on Sofiyska Square, when the opposition parties, despite all of the provocations and [personal] ambitions, showed that they can sit down at the negotiating table, reach agreements and discuss common goals for the election campaign in 2012. As a result they signed an agreement," the politician said.

According to Korolevska, the second step should the opposition’s unification with the people.
