You're reading: Donetsk Oblast governor revokes decrees to set up districts to hold elections on Nov. 29

The decrees, which were passed by head of Donetsk regional state administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky to set up six united districts in Donetsk Oblast and to elect deputies of councils, as well as village and town heads, have been revoked.

Zhebrivsky signed the respective decrees on August 20, said a website of Donetsk regional military and civil administration.

On Aug. 14 Zhebrivsky signed the decrees to set up six united territorial districts in Donetsk Oblast, namely Cherkaska (settlement), Andriyivska (village), Kramatorska (town), Ocheretynska (settlement), Oktiabrska (village), and Krasnolymanska (town).

Under the document, first local elections of deputies of the respective councils, as well as settlement, village, town heads of respective communities were supposed to be held on Nov. 29, 2015.
