You're reading: Diplomats from 12 countries to take part in Intl Parliamentary Games in Moscow

MOSCOW - International Parliamentary Games will be held in Moscow on Oct. 4 to 8, 2012, and the Russian capital city will receive representatives of 12 governments as part of new inter-parliamentary contacts.

Belarus, Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, and Japan have confirmed their participation.

The United States, India, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Bulgaria volunteered to join the games in the future.

The participants will compete in mini-football, lawn and table
tennis, chess and badminton. A gala football match will be played on the
final day between Russia and other international teams.

The winning national team will be awarded a loving cup depicting five figures holding a globe on a malachite base.
