Moscow - Western sanctions will not achieve their goal but will only make Russia even stronger, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“We are not happy about it, nor are the European countries which have imposed these sanctions, we know that. But I can reassure you: we will overcome the difficulties that will arise in certain parts of our economy. Maybe, we will become more self-reliant and more self-confident. This, too, is useful,” Lavrov told journalists in Moscow on Monday, July 28.
