Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov does not rule out that the reciprocal sanctions between Russia and the United States may last for several decades.

“This may happen, judging by what we know about the Americans. On one hand, this is a great country and, on the other hand, representatives of its executive and legislative authorities behave in a very petty way,” he said in an interview with the newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets. The minister was asked whether the ‘war’ of sanctions between Russia and the West might drag on for decades.
