President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will make a working visit to Kyiv on July 1.

“The head of state will make a visit on July 1 to meet with Viktor Fedorovych [Yanukovych, President of Ukraine],” Ambassador of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

The ambassador added that the president of Belarus would attend the final of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Kyiv and discuss with his Ukrainian counterpart important issues related to bilateral cooperation between the states.
