Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree according to which agriculture products, raw produce and food banned for imports to Russia are subject to destruction starting from Aug. 6, 2015, the Kremlin press office reported.

“To stipulate that agriculture products, raw produce and food imported to Russia – whose country of origin is a state, which decided to introduce economic sanctions regarding Russian enterprises and (or) private individuals or which joined such a decisions, and which are banned for imports to Russia – are subject to destruction starting from Aug. 6, 2015,” the decree said.
