Russia's consumer rights watchdog is expected to launch an inspection on March 26 that will center on Ukrainian enterprises planning to export cheese to the Russian market, Rospotrebnadzor head and Russia's chief epidemiologist Gennady Onishchenko told Interfax.

"Our brigade will most likely travel to Kyiv next week, on Monday," he said.

The inspection was initially set for March 19, but was subsequently postponed due to "business partners’ sluggishness", he said.

"We continue negotiating the order and procedure for the check through diplomatic channels," Onishchenko said.
