Moscow - The parliaments of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia are set to simultaneously ratify the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Treaty, State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Chairman Leonid Slutsky said.

‘Other countries will join Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan – Armenia will join on Oct. 9 and, after that, Kyrgyzstan,’ Slutsky said at a State Duma sitting on Wednesday.

The agreements to be ratified within the framework of this treaty will become the most serious stumbling block for those attempting to build a unipolar world order, he pointed out. The committee chairman noted there was a high degree of probability that the ratification would be carried out simultaneously by the parliaments of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Russia.
