MOSCOW - Mikhail Prokhorov and his friend Yevgeny Roizman, the head of the foundation Gorod bez Narkotikov (City without drugs), plan to create a political party and other politicians plan to create new parties as well, Izvestiya reported on Tuesday.

"It will be ‘a party of breadwinners,’ who understand about the economics, create jobs, pay taxes, and do not plan to move abroad," Roizman told Izvestiya.

Alexei Kara-Murza, former member of the political council of the Union of Right Forces, intends to create his own party too, Izvestiya has reported.

Andrei Bogdanov, former leader of the Russian Democratic Party and former member of A Just Cause, told Izvestiya he plans to "revive the Russian Democratic Party project."

"I can draw 50,000 members tomorrow. Tomorrow I can call a congress and there will be a democratic party," Bogdanov said.

Boris Nadezhdin, a former member of A Just Cause, has told Izvestiya he is working on "the right-wing manifesto" of a new party. The politician said he is hoping for some "negotiation process," which should lead to the creation of "a big right-wing party," Izvestiya has reported.
