Checkpoints Donetsk, Gukovo and Novoshakhtinsk on the Russian-Ukrainian border stopped working on July 1, the Rostov region law enforcement authorities told Interfax.

“The customs and border checkpoints Gukovo, Novoshakhtinsk and Donetsk, which operated at the Russian-Ukrainian border section in the Rostov region, were closed under a special order,” the law enforcement authorities said.

“The checkpoints do not have citizens crossing the state border and vehicles are not crossing the state border at these checkpoints as well,” the law enforcement authorities said.
