Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow plans to pay an official visit to Moldova at the end of July.
Preparations for the upcoming visit topped the agenda of recent political consultations between the Turkmen and Moldovan Foreign Ministries in Chisinau.
The two countries’ diplomats also discussed bilateral relations in politics, trade, business, culture and humanitarian affairs, as well as their contacts within international organizations, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said on its website.
Turkmen Ambassador to Chisinau Nurberdy Amanmuradov, who is based in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, presented credentials to Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti on July 15.
