You're reading: Abramovich to attend Ukraine-England match

A number of well-known businessmen and statesmen apart from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Premier Mykola Azarov will attend the match between the national football teams of Ukraine and England on Tuesday.

It is expected that President of FC Shakhtar Rinat Akhmetov,
President of London FC Chelsea Roman Abramovich, President of PFC CSKA
Moscow Yevgeni Giner, and President of the Football federation of
Ukraine Hryhoriy Surkis will be present in the VIP box of the Donbas
Arena stadium in Donetsk.

Ukrainian Vice Premier and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov,
Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko, Vice Premier and Health Minister
Raisa Bohatyriova, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, Security Service
Chief Ihor Kalinin, Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy
Liovochkin, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy
Kliuyev, businessmen Vadym Novynsky, Volodymyr Boyko, and Serhiy Taruta
will also attend the match.

Third Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko is also on the invitation list.

United Kingdom Ambassador to Ukraine Leigh Turner, Chairman of the
Football Association of England David Bernstein, President of the
European Professional Football Leagues organization Dave Richards, and
President of FC Stoke City Peter Coates will support England.

Meanwhile, Honorary UEFA President Lennart Johansson, Head of the
Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira,
and representatives from the football federations of France and Sweden
are to watch another Group D match Sweden v. France in Kyiv on Tuesday.
