Dynamo Kyiv manager Oleh Blokhin is not involved in the training process of his team, but is participating in the club's preparation for upcoming matches through communication with his assistants, reads a statement posted on the club's official Web site on Friday.
After undergoing surgery, Blokhin has already been discharged from hospital and transferred to rehabilitation at home, with bed rest strictly prescribed for him.
“No one knows where Blokhin will watch Saturday’s match between Dynamo and Metalist: in the stadium or at home. But now we can say that he is directly involved in the preparation of Dynamo players and is constantly in touch with his assistants,” reads the statement.
On October 20, Dynamo will take on Metalist in the 12th round of the Ukrainian Premier League at the Olympiysky Stadium in Kyiv.
