Simferopol – Crimea's prime minister and honorary president of the Tavriya football club, Anatoliy Mohyliov, has said that the team's main sponsor, Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash, is ready to resolve all of the club's financial problems.

“Last week I spoke with Dmytro Firtash on this matter and he was surprised to learn about Tavriya’s financial problems. After that, I talked to the head coach, Oleh Luzhny, and he said that the funds started dissolving in the chain from the club to Firtash’s structures,” he said at a press conference in Simferopol on Tuesday.

Mohyliov said that according to Firtash, all of the funds were used to support the football club.

“So, I think, they will conduct an internal investigation there, and I would not like to issue an instruction to law enforcement agencies. However, if the situation continues like this, of course, we’re keeping it under control, and if there are any delays, we will deal with them,” Mohyliov said.

“Dmytro Firtash assured me that there are no financial problems and that he will fully ensure the financing of the team. This is the main thing. And Oleh Luzhny is ready to train players in full in order to achieve the goals set,” he said.
