FC Dynamo Kyiv won through to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Although the Ukrainian club lost the second leg against Borussia
Monchengladbach 1-2 at the Olympiysky Stadium in Kyiv on Wednesday, Aug. 29, it
advanced to the group stage of the Champions League thanks to a 3-1
advantage in the opening match in Germany.
Dynamo defender Yevhen Khacheridi scored an own goal in the 70th
minute, and that was doubled eight minutes later with a Juan Arango
header. Dynamo striker Ideye Brown scored in the 88th minute.
The match was attended by 66,872 viewers.
