Fabio Capello's contract as the coach of Russia has been in ended, three years before the country hosts the 2018 World Cup. The Russian Football Union (RFU) has confirmed the Italian's departure and while it did not name a successor, the CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutski is expected to take over.
