The Prozorro system of electronic public procurement (http://prozorro.org/), which was created under the initiative of public organizations, by the end of the year will be transferred to the balance of the state, system coordinator Andriy Kucherenko has said.

“We have a goal by the end of the year to transfer the system to the state, we have started this work and in November-December this year the system will be transferred to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade,” Andriy Kucherenko said at a press conference in Kyiv.

He noted that the system is working in a pilot mode.

“This reform is focused not only on the Ministry of Defense, more than 200 government customers operate in the system. We have recently exceeded the figure of 5,000 tenders that were announced in the system,” he said.

E-procurement administrator in the Ministry of Defense Pavlo Kiriyenko, in turn, added that the project of e-procurement in the defense agency has been operating since February 2015.

“From June 29 we switched to industrial production – an electronic auction became the only way for procurement procedures in the Defense Ministry,” he said.
