Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport in October 2012 increased passenger flows by 66.7% year-over-year, to 88,500 passengers, the airport's press service has reported.

Passenger flow on domestic flights grew by 5.2 times, to 37,800
people, and those on international flights by 10.7%, to 50,700
passengers.

The number of flights at the Kyiv airport over the period came to
2,554, which is 2.2 times up year-over-year. Some 1,490 flights were
performed in Ukraine and 1,064 flights were international flights.

The most popular international destinations from the airport in
October were Treviso, Dortmund and Moscow, in Ukraine – Donetsk, Odesa
and Kharkiv.

In January-October 2012, passenger flow at the airport grew by 54% on
international flights, to 472,500 people, and by 150.7% on domestic
flights, to 210,400 passengers.

The Kyiv international airport (Zhuliany) is among top five largest
airports in Ukraine in terms of passenger flow. In 2012, the airport
plans to service 850,000 passengers.

The airport is located 7 km from Kyiv downtown.
