You're reading: Altcom wins tender to repair Kyiv-Odesa highway

Altcom Road Construction Ltd., part of the Altcom financial and industrial group (both based in Donetsk), has won a tender to overhaul the M05 Kyiv-Odesa highway, reads a report issued by the company on May 20.

The project is being financed using loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

“The company’s specialists will overhaul a 64-kilometer section. From 17th to 27th kilometers the highway has three traffic lanes in each direction and from 27th to 87th kilometers – two lanes in each direction. As a part of the repair project, 25 facilities will be reconstructed and built, including nine pedestrian bridges,” read the report, referring to the head of Construction Department 4 at Altcom Road Construction, Ivan Yakumovych.

At present, land surveying is being carried out and sites for mobile asphalt and concrete plants and other machinery are being prepared.

Altcom Road Construction is part of the Altcom financial and industrial group, along with Altcom-Keram, Altcom-Nerudprom, Altcom-Stone, Altcom-Transmechanization, Altcem (Kerch, Crimea), Altech TM-Service (Kyiv), and others.
