You're reading: Armed persons still control SBU building in Luhansk

A large pro-Russian rally continued outside the captured Security Service of Ukraine's (SBU) building in Luhansk on Thursday.

As the Skhidny Variant (East Variant) online publication reported, at
around 11 am people actively started to join the rally on the square.
There is a field kitchen there and people are bringing food.

“It’s interesting that some demonstrators call the SBU building the
FSB [Russian Federal Security Service] building,” the publication said.

The central streets of Luhansk have been partially blocked.

Authorities and law enforcement for a fourth day have been holding
talks with those who captured the SBU building, but there has been no
progress. The armed people continue to control the building.
