“Despite the vacation, the Austrian president signed the ratification of Association [Agreement]. What to be done next is the chancellor’s signing and a report in the government newspaper. Danke!” Scherba tweeted on July 31.
As reported, the EU-Ukraine association agreement was ratified by both chambers of the Austrian parliament earlier in July.
The agreement has been fully ratified by 21 out of the 28 members of the EU.
