The commission of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine for the consideration of rights to flight permits on July 30 decided to recommend that the service should cancel a significant number of permits issued to Ukrainian airlines.

The Ministry of Infrastructure told Interfax-Ukraine that the service recommended the cancellation of a significant number of flight permits issued to Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) in accordance with a letter regarding the grounds for the cancellation of such rights.

As reported, this concerned the Kyiv-Donetsk and Kyiv-Simferopol domestic routes, as well as the rights to 104 regular international lines.

The ministry specified that the service recommended the cancellation of flight permits for the 104 flights, except for those which have code-sharing agreements, in particular Kyiv-Edinburgh, Kyiv-Manchester, Dnipropetrovsk-Vienna, Lviv-Vienna, Kharkiv-Vienna, Kyiv-Kazan, Kyiv-Krasnodar, Kyiv-Samara, Kyiv-Ufa, Kyiv-Yekaterinburg, Kyiv-Novosibirsk, Kyiv-Rostov-on-Don, Kyiv-Sochi, and Kyiv-Ashgabat.

In addition, the service recommended that Motor Sich airline has its right to fly on seven domestic and two international routes revoked.
