Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has instructed Ukraine's Education and Science, Youth and Sports Ministry to draft a program for the professional training, complex social adaptation and legal protection of orphans.

"I instruct the Education Ministry, Justice Ministry and Social Policy Ministry to develop a modern program of professional training, complex social adaptation and legal protection of orphans," he said while opening a meeting of the government on Wednesday.

The premier said that a new approach has to be found to the problem of the social adaptation of children brought up in boarding schools.

Azarov added that 10% of orphans attempt to commit suicide after facing everyday problems after graduation from boarding schools.
