Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has called on the members of the Customs Union to respect needs of its large partners, and not only its own interests.

"We pursue a policy of maximum assistance and elimination of barriers in mutual trade. We would like our colleagues in the Customs Union to work on the introduction of beneficial conditions for mutual trade, instead of considering issues from the viewpoint of interests of the three member stated of the union," Azarov said at a meeting with the chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Viktor Khristenko, in Kyiv on March 26.

The PM mentioned that Ukraine has sent to the Customs Union its proposals regarding the cooperation in the 3+1 format and received relevant proposals from the union and is considering them.
