What follows are opening comments made by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on October 12, 2010.
Today in the Dnipropetrovsk region at 9:25 morning an extraordinary event has happened. Shunting locomotive collided with a passenger bus. According to preliminary data on this tragic accident 40 people killed, 10 are in serious condition. They were hospitalized in Marganets hospital.
At the scene of the accident the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, head of the State Commission for Emergencies Klyuyev is present. To assist the victims the necessary equipment, personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the necessary number of ambulance crews are brought.
