Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said he is happy with the development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations.
“I’m pleased to note the growth of trade between our two countries.
Last year, it totaled $10 billion and tends to increase,” the Ukrainian
prime minister said at a meeting with Chen Zhili, vice chair of the
Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of China in
Kyiv on Thursday, Sept. 6.
The Ukrainian prime minister invited the Chinese side to increase the
exchange of students, noting that interest in learning Chinese has been
growing in Ukraine. In this regard, Azarov offered to jointly develop a
tutorial for learning Chinese, and consider the establishment of a
specialized school with teaching in Chinese in Ukraine.
