You're reading: Bad weather causes blackouts in 27 towns and villages in Ukraine

Electricity supplies have been disrupted in 27 towns and villages in two regions of Ukraine as a result of bad weather, the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's press service reported. 

Bad weather triggered power lines protection system causing blackouts in 19 towns and villages in Zhytomyr region and eight in Volyn region, the press service said.

Regional electricity companies’ teams are working on restoring electricity supplies.
