A total of 71 towns and villages in Ukraine were left without electricity as a result of bad weather (snow and strong winds), the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's press service reported.

Bad weather caused blackouts in the early hours of Monday in 24 towns and villages in Odesa region, 16 in Zaporizhia region, nine in Kherson region, nine in Chernihiv region, six in Dnipropetrovsk region, four in Kyiv region, three in Cherkasy region.

Power crews are restoring electricity supplies in the regions.
