You're reading: Boryspil airport completes reconstruction of Terminal B

Boryspil International Airport has completed the reconstruction of Passenger Terminal B, according to a company press release.

"After reconstruction, the waiting space, which earlier was 2,790 square meters, was expanded to 5,670 square meters (4,590 square meters for passengers of international flights, and 1,080 square meters for passengers of domestic flights)," reads the press release.

According to the report, the terminal’s capacity after reconstruction was increased from 1,800 to 2,400 people per hour.

Boryspil International Airport occupies a site of about 1,000 hectares. It has two runways: one 4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and another 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals, and a mail and cargo complex.
