You're reading: Boryspil airport sees 20% rise in passenger flow in 2011

The state-run Boryspil International Airport serviced 8 million passengers in 2011, which is 20% up year-on-year, the airport's press service reported.

As of today, Boryspil airport services more than 70% of passenger flights in Ukraine, the statement reads.

Boryspil airport, Ukraine’s largest airport, occupies a site of about 1,000 hectares. It has two runways: one 4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and another 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals and a mail and cargo complex.
