You're reading: Cabinet allocates Hr 254.7 million in Kyiv city budget

Ukraine's government has redistributed the expenses of Finance Ministry in 2013 and allocated UAH 254.7 million from the general fund of the state budget to the Kyiv city budget.

The order of the Cabinet of Ministers to do this, No. 1029 as of December 25, has been posted on the president’s Web site.

Kyiv will get money through the cutting of budget assignments under
the program to compensate citizens for losses from fall in the value of
bank deposits.

The government also ordered Kyiv city state administration to take
measures not to allow there to be wage arrears for the employees of Kyiv
budget-funded establishments.
