You're reading: CEC registers more than 400 lawmakers

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has registered another 26 people's deputies. 

At its meeting on Wednesday, the CEC registered 16 lawmakers elected on party lists: nine from the Communist Party of Ukraine, including Oleksandr Prysiazhniuk (No. 5 on the list), and seven from the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, including Lviv Regional Council Chairman Oleh Pankevych (No. 7 on the list).

In addition, the CEC registered ten lawmakers elected in single-seat constituencies: five representatives of the Party of Regions, three from Svoboda, one from Batkivschyna, and one self-nominee.

They include Mykola Dzhyha of the Party of Regions elected in constituency No. 15, Iryna Farion and Iryna Sekh both of Svoboda (elected in constituencies No. 116 and No. 119 respectively), Mykola Dyriv (constituency No. 86) and self-nominee Yuriy Derevianko (constituency No. 87).

Thus, the CEC has already registered 409 of the total of 445 elected lawmakers.
