You're reading: Central Election Commission: Half of election commissions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions captured

 Two district election commissions have been captured in the town of Horlivka of Donetsk region, according to the recent reports of the Central Election Commission (CEC).

As of 3:30 pm on May 22, the work of 18 of 34 election
commissions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been stopped fully or
partially.

The representatives of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”
seized buildings of the district commissions Nos. 56-57 in Horlivka on May 22.

All computer and office equipment as well as the election
documentation have been removed from the buildings. The aggressors
demand the commission to give them a seal.

Now the work of both commissions is frozen.
