Journalist Tetiana Chornovol is in no condition to leave hospital, Chornovol's husband Mykola Berezoviy told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty

Earlier on Jan. 7 Helath Ministry released a statement saying that Chornovol’s condition was good enough to leave the hospital but the journalist refused to do it.

“She has high temperature all the time. She walks just 10 meters and feels dizzy immediately,” Berezoviy said.

Journalist Mustafa Nayem wrote a post on his Facebook wall saying that he interviewed Chornovol and she said that nobody offered her to leave the hospital.

Chornovol was beaten on the night of Dec. 25, 2013 on her way home. Unknown men chased her car then brusquely beat her and left her in her car in the ditch. Hours before that Chornovol published a blog giving the adress of alleged residence of Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko. In 2012, Chornovol got into President Viktor Yanukovych’s residence Mezhyhirya and walked there, taking photos, for several hours, before she was spotted by the guards. Chornovol has been an active participant of EuroMaidan protests in Kyiv.

Three suspects were arrested in the beating of Chornovol.
