The Civil Position Party is in talks on a merger with the Batkivschyna and Front for Change parties, Civil Position Party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko has said.

“We’re holding talks on unification with Batkivschyna and the Front for Change,” he told Interfax-Ukraine on June 18.

He said that the talks were now at the final stage. At the same time,
he said the issue does not concern accession to the Dictatorship
Resistance Committee.

Hrytsenko said that his party was holding talks with Batkivschyna and
the Front for Change on participating in the parliamentary elections.

The elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held on October 28, 2012.
