The Communist Party of Ukraine has slammed the bill on pension reform and repeated its demand for the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko.

"We’ll vote against [the proposed draft bill on pension reform]," member of the Communist Party faction Yevhen Tsarkov said in an interview with reporters on Thursday.

He stressed that he read the text of the modified bill on pension reform and added that its essence has not changed – it is based on raising the retirement age of women.

"We are definitely going to vote against this bill again. I do not know how our colleagues from the Regions Party will comment, but in the hall and in the lobby [of the parliament] they are criticizing this reform," he said.

"The next personnel decision taken by the president should be on the dismissal of Tigipko," Tsarkov added.
