You're reading: Constitutional Court allows officials, lawmakers to have corporate rights

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has declared unconstitutional a ban on the participation of public officials and people's deputies in general meetings of companies or organizations that work for profit.

This is stipulated in a ruling of the Constitutional Court dated March 13, which was published on March 20.

Fifty-three people’s deputies including those from the Regions Party parliamentary faction filed an inquiry at the court on the issue.
