Kyiv's Pechersky District Court, which is considering a criminal case opened against former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, has finished the questioning of witnesses and the announcement of the evidence of witnesses and switched to the consideration of the case materials.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the presiding judge, Serhiy Vovk, had announced this after a technical break in the court session.

The press service of the People’s Self-Defense Party, in turn, told journalists that the evidence of six more witnesses had not been studied by the court for unknown reasons.

Lutsenko’s lawyer, Ihor Fomin, in turn, told reporters that according to the procedure of the trial, the consideration of the case materials would be followed by the questioning of the defendants, additions, debates, and the closing statements, after which the court will retire to the deliberation room to consider its verdict.
