You're reading: Credit Agricole Bank sees 71 percent fall in profit in 2015

Credit Agricole Bank (Kyiv) saw a 70.5 percent fall in profit in Jan.-June 2015 year-over-year, reaching Hr 139.614 million, the bank said in a quarterly report.

The bank said that its profit in April-June was Hr 47.387 million (profit in Q1 2015 was Hr 92.227 million), which was 76.2 percent down year-over-year.

Net interest-bearing income grew by 67.4 percent in Jan.-June 2015 year-over-year, to Hr 1.101 billion.

Its total assets rose by 2.4 percent, to Hr 21.595 billion.

Credits and debts of clients dropped by 2.1 percent, reaching Hr 14.231 billion.

Reserves for overdue credits reached 18.5 percent of total sum of clients’ credits and debts as of early July, while as of early 2015 they were 11.5 percent.

The charter capital remained unchanged, being Hr 1.223 billion, while net worth grew by 9.9 percent, to Hr 1.553 billion.

Credit Agricole Bank was founded in 1993. Credit Agricole S.A. on July 1, 2015 owned 99.9961 percent of the charter capital of PJSC Credit Agricole Bank.

The bank ranked 15th among 133 operating banks as of April 1, 2015, in terms of total assets worth Hr 22.275 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
