The press release, referring to Head of the Ukrainian Tax Service
Oleksandr Klymenko, noted that for the further development of the
economy of the resort it is necessary to extend the cooperation of the
tax service and local authorities, including in the management of the
tourist fee.

“I must state that there are many unresolved issues in the
administration of the tourist fee. It’s possible to make the management
of the tourist fee efficient only through to the active cooperation of
three interested subjects: the tax service, the local authorities and
representatives of the hotel business. Meanwhile, there has been
somewhat positive progress,” he said.

Klymenko also reported that in May-August this year the total tax
payment from Crimea to the Ukrainian consolidated budget was Hr 2.2
billion.
