Since July 2015, criminal cases have been opened against 39 Ukrainian security officers, on charges of treason, espionage and other crimes, Ukrainian Security Service chief of staff, Oleksandr Tkachuk, has said.

“Before that, since the times of the Revolution of Dignity [November 2013-February 2014], criminal cases were opened against four security officers in connection with the same crimes,” Tkachuk said, at a briefing in Kyiv on March 30.
