The Czech Republic has granted asylum to the husband of Ukraine's jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, a spokesman for the Czech Interior Ministry said on Friday, Jan.5.
"The interior minister … has confirmed that (Oleksander) Tymoshenko requested asylum and that it was granted to him," spokesman Pavel Novak said.
