A next demobilization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be carried in late March-early April 2016, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko said.

“Transfer of the servicemen to reserve will be done mainly in April, probably in late March 2016,” Muzhenko told the journalists in Kyiv on Monday in a course of the meeting with the foreign military attaches.

The General Staff chief also reported that Armed Forces constantly enlarge a number of the servicemen, who wish to serve on a volunteer basis. Thus, such number of the servicemen grew by 6,000 persons from January 1 to February 6, 2016.

“More volunteers to come to the army, less conscripts to be needed for mobilization,” he added.
