Donetsk-based Donbass Arena Company will train personnel for the National Olympiysky Sports Complex, which will host the Euro 2012 European Football Championship final.

This is stated in an explanatory note on the reason for applying the procedure of procurement from one participant posted by the National Agency on the Preparations for and Hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship Finals in Ukraine on the Web site of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.

The estimated cost of services for training personnel for the Olympiysky Sports Complex amounts to Hr 415,062.

The training will be conducted in Donetsk. The service will be provided until May 22, 2011.

The National Agency on Euro 2012 explained that it is necessary to hire Donbass Arena so as to fulfill the national targeted program on the preparations for holding the Euro 2012 in Ukraine.

"To reach the goal we have to train the necessary number of specialists for organizing and holding the championship," reads the note.

The reconstruction of the National Olympiysky Sports Complex started in 2008 and will continue until the autumn of 2011.

A glass front will be constructed and a suspended roof made of a semi-transparent synthetic membrane will cover all of the seats at the sports complex.

After the reconstruction, the capacity of the stadium will be cut from 83,000 to 69,000 seats due to the widening of the aisles between seating sectors, VIP seats, sectors for commentators and the media, and seats for people with disabilities.

The National Olympiysky Sports Complex will have the status of an elite stadium after the reconstruction work is completed.
