The militants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) may exchange another group of prisoners with Kyiv, DPR First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Purgin told Interfax.

‘Everything depends on Kyiv, the time it brings the people and relevant documents to Kharkiv. About 20 persons are staying there now but they have no documents. It is quite possible another group will be exchanged this week,’ Purgin said.

The DPR militants and the Ukrainian side exchanged prisoners on Sunday. ‘The exchange has been conducted. We exchanged 73 [prisoners] for 73,’ Purgin told Interfax on Sunday.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirmed the information on Sunday night.
